hello i just found this website today and i am thinking of buying a tv and dvd for an 1999 honda odessey and i dont have alot of money to spend and also i am thinking of installing it myself. i have no experience in any wiring. i was wondering is there any books out that i could get that maybe would teach me a little about this. and also does anyone know if the( pyle) stuff that you see on ebay is worth a crap or will i spend more money fixing it than it cost.the pyle stuff is priced very cheap and then i see some audiovox that is really expensive.it is just for my kids to watch tv and movies to keep them from fighting. does anyone think that the pyle would do the job.

thanks,

justin rollins.

Pyle is entry level equipment that should be good as long as you can get warranty from anyone that you buy this stuff from if the situation ever arises. As far as books are concerned, you can look up basic electronics here: https://www.autotoys.com/sitet.html and just type in your vehicle and it will show you some step by step's of how to do the installation.

Justin:

I have an entry level Video setup that is very similar to the Pyle system. It has worked very well for me and was very easy to install. I would recommend that if you want to save money, go with Pyle or check out https://www.mp3playerstore.com which is where i bought my stuff. I recommend the MP-2 DVD player.  Make sure you get an FM modulator, preferably one that can be installed inline with the antenna wire instead of a wireless one.

Hope this helps
