hey i have a alpine cva 1003 indash media system. im having trouble getting it to work i hooked everything up as it shows to but it keeps displaying picture not displayed for your safety. the unit has a parking break wire and a foot brake wire that has to be hooked up . i have tried grounding them and such but nothing seems to work it play audio but no video . please help

i had the same problem on a pioneer. I had to hook the parking break wire and ground to a toggle switch. So when a started the car i had to flip the switch.
