Okay, I have a Pioneer P5700dvd.  I have a power inverter - 400 watt - and my PS2.  No matter what, I always have interference.  Like AC noise.  With the car off or on I have this problem.  I first thought it was ground, so I grounded the power inverter 3 inches away.  This didn't help so I grounded the shielding of the video cable....bad idea.  I don't know how to fix this issue.  I have wavy lines and static on my screen.  Does anybody have any ideas?  I know people are putting PS2's in their cars...how do they not have the interferences like me?

Some don't use the power inverter at all. The 60 Hz hum is notorious for interference. If you have an older PS2, you can replace the AC power supply for a DC regulated type. Why take 12VDC up to 120VAC just to take it back down to 12VDC? I have a write up. PM if you are interested.
