Hi whats goin on fellas. I just had a quick question I was hoping someone would be able to help me out with.

I purchased an Avic-N1 used some time ago and did not receive the East Disc. I had purchased the east disc (that I thought was an original) from ebay but it turned out to be a copy with corrupt files.

I now need to try to find a replacement disc, but there are a couple versions as many of you may know. I would like to get the 1.2 version, but not if it disables the dvd playback and stuff while driving. I have heard some people say that some 1.2's can still have video playback, and some 1.1's cant, while others can. Can anybody unconfuse me on this issue as there are some items on ebay that say they are 1.2 and wont disable the playback.

CNDV-40 disc sets , NONE of them disable video playback, that started with the CNDV-50 series discs... Those WILL DISABLE Video playback w/o a bypass.

The later version -40 discs corrected problems with nav volume settings, FL map errors, and other odds & ends.
