hey guys im looking into gettin a Jensen vm 9501 or the 9401 model. How are these units? can they withstand alot of bass like almost 150 db's with out skipping? if not what other units would you guys recommend that would. thanks.

i've never used one but from what i know it diffently won't. but if i was you i would go and lookie lou at local shops, best buys, curcuit citys where ever they have head units. your gonna need to get something decent like over 200 bucks. and it will depend on what configuration fits your system best. do some research and learn everything you can befor you commit to anything. they ain't gonna let you return it after you install it fgind its not what your looking for. lol

ya hey its 650 bucks. i would get a 4 year plan on or something like that. do any of you guys have any flip ups that handle alot of bass?

yeah i have a avh-p6600dvd with 4 12in eclispe and two PG octane-r R15.0:1 amps and ever had any problems with skipping or any thing.Even on rr tracks ever skips.

i have the 9501 and in my 99 grand prix, i had 4 12" subs and have never had a problem with it.

be careful, always get an extended warranty when buying jensen
