ive got the wiring colors for this unit, but i dont remember what the sequence is to get a pic on the screen . if i remember correctly you have to hold your foot on the brake then engage the parking brake, then release the foot brake, is that correct? Ive got a customer who brought in this unit used, and i cant get it to work, so i just want to make sure im doing the sequence correctly.

thanks in advance

Yes, that is the sequence.... but be more specific about the problem though.

It can be done but how much are you willing to pay?

i thought it was hold down the foot brake while you pull up emergency brake, release emergency brake, then pull up emergency brake again. after this, release the foot brake.

at least, thats how it is on the IVA-D310 head unit.

alpine000 that sounds right, i use to have an alpine in dash installed in my car and i had two switches hooked up to replicate the sequence, that sounds familiar

yep, thats exactly what the owners manual says to my IVA-D310 head unit. however, the equipment in question here seems to be a video monitor, not a head unit. posted_image
