Can someone tell me where this wire is, and if it is analog or digital? I found a diagram on this site that points to the abs module. My nav. install manual says DO NOT tap into the abs harness. Thanks Jay

GREEN / WHITE @ the ECM under the hood, or at the instrument cluster. Or at the radio if the factory had volume sensitive volume

Thanks for that quick reply. I was reading that there should be a VSS wire in my over head console. Would you know which wire that is? It would be much easier for me to route a wire up there. Thanks

same color, I don't know why there'd be one up there though.
Instrument cluster seems the best bet.

Thanks again. over on the s10 forums the claim is that the temp and or compass use the vss as an update signal
