Customer came to us wanting to replace his factory nav with the pioneer avic-n2 will this pose a problem? I didn't see so and metra has a wiring harness for the infinity powered dodge systems... The customer is completely eliminating the factory system and upgrading EVERYTHING. Any one see an issue with the 2004 srt-10 ram aftermarket navi install??

the only thing that Ive heard about using the avic-n2 with a premium sound system is that using aftermarket speakers with the stock amp along with the N2 might blow the stock amp.  But if they are replacing everything like you said, and they make a wiring harness like you said, then I think you'll be fine.  Just don't try to retain any of the stock gps features. Use all that comes with the N2.

Now I have seen some people take a stock gps or xm antenna and gut it and put the internals of their new antenna in the stock shell to make it look stock.  that is your customers choice though.

Good luck,

Alan Adams
