I have a DVD player in my truck that I have hooked up to switched 12V. It only comes with a single lead, and no constant 12v for power. It is very annoying to have to start your place over everytime you start the truck. Has anyone here used a 1F cap to power the DVD player while not having the 12V switched to on. This seems like it would work, and won't run the risk of killing your battery over night while running a DVD player. Anyone have any thoughts?
Also, can anyone recommend an inexpensive AV switcher?
before u turn the truck off turn the dvd off and next time u turn dvd player back on movie will start where u left off should work, that's how most dvd players work that have a 12 volt acc and ground wires only let me know if it works

A cap won't work. It would supply power for a minute max.
