what is the color and location of the vss wire in a 2006 ford explorer

It's at the PCM on the firwall, pin #1 and it's PURPLE / orange. They did away with it being on the radio harness this year... posted_image

Hmm thats really odd, I test drove one today and it had the svc... i was hoping it was still at the harness.

can also located at wiper motor harness grey/black ,,,speed sentive wipers
