I started with a power inverter from Metra (Part # MPI-200), I got some noise through my headphones when the Xbox was on. I tried the MPI-400 and found the same problem. I finally tried the MPI-800 and no noise and the picture is fine. I think the Xbox is really funny when it comes to inverters and you might need to try a bigger inverter.

ya, it is because the inverter output isn't a perfect sine wave. the more expensive one's should be, and hopefully that will take care of your problem. however, i think anything AC in the car is never perfect. kina sucks.

think the xbox needs a minimum of a 300watt inverter to run correctly in a car.
