OK this has happen twice now.
Installed the unit in mid December 2005. Works great! Enjoy the GPS maps, XM Sat, NavTraffic CD, etc. On two occations, I pull into my driveway, unit on and playing XM nicely. I turn off ignition and go in for the night. Next morning, I start the truck (SUV actually) and the unit shows the usual blue lights, but no "XM TUNER" on the small display and the motorized screen will extend and move into final position but then it all shuts off. No lights. No buttons work.
I reset and it will receed and extend again. What do I do?

Last time this happened a combination of iginition power on and reset worked. But not now. I have tried several times, removed faceplate, check contacts etc.
It definately has juice.
Please help.

Does anyone have some ideas on how I correct this?
It will fully power off with a full extended and upright screen and only retract if either reset or ignition is turned off. It will extend again after the reset and also when ignition is turned on.

I try reset, pull the power and still no luck?

If I press te SRC faceplate button, I get the XM TUNER text to display for a very short time during the LCd extend step.

Somehow I was able to get it to rest and reboot. This reboot is noted by seeing a single line of small text on a black screen. Even a power disconnect will not reboot this unit.

Can someone please shed some light on all this?
