Hi,
I am looking for the VSS wire for this truck WITH the BASE stereo (ie WITHOUT the rockford fosgate upgrade).

were u able to find the vss wire on this vehicle??if so please let me know where andwhat color of wire

I got it working by running a lead to pin#6 on the instrument cluster's wire harness. If you have the RF upgrade there would be a wire coming out of this pin to the radio, which I believe is light blue. Since I didnt have the upgrade, there was no wire so I just ran one myself to the headunit.
