Hey,
I was curious if anyone had any suggestions on how to override the DVD player in a 2005 Cadillac Deville DTS. Right now it only plays in park, but not in drive. I found a few things such as holding the music note button for 3 seconds, and then entering 1791 on the screen, but I don't think that's for 2005's. Any idea for this year?

to do what, watch dvd on the nav screen? i wasnt ever aware that gm ever made a factory screen in the front that played dvds without aftermarket mod

Yes, play a DVD while the car is out of park.

OKAY VERY IMPROTANT WHEN DOING ALL THIS!! i did all this to a 2006 Hummer, and 2006 Escalde THE BEST POSSIBLE solution is go throught a company called NAVTV.com that will answer all your questions and let u intergrate the factory nav, onstar, and bose, and be able to watch DVDS THIs company is great they make everyhting like mercedes cl600 radios everyhting!! just thought id let ya know =)
