I have a 2003 Denali that has the factory installed rear seat dvd unit with screen. I have purchased an aftermarket unit for the indash nav unit that allows my new backup camera and a second video input ie: from the existing dvd player to be displayed. However after looking at the dvd player and the connectors i can not distinguish which wires feed the video signal to the existing screen so i can tap into it for my front display. Its a panasonic unit model number CN-SG0360ZC dvd player. I have looked all over the web and on panasonics web site but i cant find any wiring diagram for this dvd player.
Can anyone supply me with a diagram or a place where i could get one?

Remove the TV/DVD from the vehicle there should be a plug from the dvd to the screen. Remove the shrink tubing from the wire harness, and you will be able to locate different groups of wires inside the harness. There will be brown and black wires in with a ground shield, these are your audio signals. There will then be either a light blue or dark blue (Can't remember which one exactly) in another harness with a ground shield, this will be the video signal.
How did you figure that out. Is there a way to test for it or do you just have the wiring diagrams for it.
As I stated in the earlier post, when you pull back the heat shrink you will find the wires that are grouped together surrounded by the ground shield. For the video lead, I used a "computer safe" test light (I have a Snap-On/Bluepoint one) and turn on the video unit and probed the wires until I found one that made the picture "jumble". As for the audio leads, I used a test speaker and hooked it up until I got it to come on.
