i just had the avn 5435 installed in my 04 f150 the unit works great except for the lights on the unit, they only come on ever once in a while i have the automatic lights and if i turn them off the lights on the unit go off and wont come back on until the door is opened and the truck is restarted does anyone know the fix for this problem?

you need to add a relay due to the low output from the car on the illumination wire
