I am needing to put an n64 in a vehicle and I want to hook it up without using the 120 plug if possible. Im reading the transformer and its confusing. It lists 120V 24w 60hz input, that makes sense, but for output it lists 3.3v 2.7a and then on the line below it says 12v .8a. So does this damn thing run on 12v or 3.3 volt or does it need both or what? Any insights?

Could be both. Most digital logic runs on 3.3.  Drives and periphs on 12.
