my friend bought an an eclipse avn of someone but when he intalled it, it asked for a navigation cd and it wont go on to another menu, he does not have any cds how can he get through this, from what i heard is that eclipse comes with some kind of cd you have to install for security if this is true how can he get this cd. or what can he do? anyway to get through it?

Nope, You need the coded CD that the owner programmed not a CD that you can buy. And IF this was a legit buy off the person and not a stolen unit then they should be able to give up the CD with no problem. Navi CD's you can purchase look around the internet.
