I was wondering if there were certain parts needed to install a indash TV component with , and without DVD capability. I would like to know with both scenario's. One of my buddies told me that I would need a Processor for the installation no matter what... Is this true? I'm looking at getting a Alpine Retractable TV indash unit... please advise if anything else will be needed

For the VW all you need is the TV(and the parts that come with it), a pocket kit, a wire harness, and an antenna adapter.
