Just got this unit in form repair and whenever you try to turn up volume it goes to mute. and you can hear the chimes for selections made through factory speakers, so the deck is hooked up right. Is this normal:errr:, I don't think it is or is there away to shut this off? any ideas out there....

Problem was inside unit with cellphone mute circuit.....fun, fun.....
