Hey guys, I picked up a night vision license plate frame camera by BOYO Vision. I was originally going to tap into the reverse light for power, but I trailer things and would like to occasionally keep my eye on it while im driving so would I better off putting this on a toggle? I don't think I can do both, because once I enable the toggle, won't it turn my backup lamps on if they are both connected?  Also, if it's on a toggle should I put an inline fuse on it.. and what size should I use? Thanks.. the directions don't mention any of this.

you can use a diode, so that the swith will overide the reverse light but not send voltage into the vehicle wiring. id use a 5 amp fuse to be safe for the camera
