hi all

Can any one Plz help me ...I will be doing Vison Screen install in X5 2003 ..I just want to know how hard to take radio out and install FM Modulator in that car ..reason i'm asking because this is my first X5 of 2003..Also tell me about Antina adaptor ..is it same as VW or tehy change in this model...

is there anything i have to watch when i'm doing install in this

Honestly you should not pull the radio.  The factory amp/control box is in the rear drivers quarter panel ( I think the antenna actually plugs in there, key word is "think" ).  Also honestly I would ditch the plug in fm modulator and go for one that will broadcast inside the car.  They are easier to install and less likely to cause interference with the factory reception (especially am).

Hi all

Thanks auex and I finish X5 today well amp was located at Rear quarter panel but Antenna was in front behind the Deck and for access to antenna i had to take out climate control lacated bottom of deck and was jst need to pull and had two clips...after removing that just put hand behind deck and access anteena and they Use new antenna Pin(diffrent from VW and 2001 BMW)
