I recently acquired a Alpine DVA-5200 form a friend and need to know what the White and Brown wire connects to.  I am using this as a stand alone within my car and would like to get it going sometime this weekend.  this is the only wire that i dont know. any help will get me back on the road again.

if your refering to a whit/brn wire i believe thats the remote ir sensor wire.

Would you connect that wire to a Alpine Flip out screen or other Alpine Screen?  Because i have a remote sensor, but that has a head phone jack on the end.
