i have a customer that wants to add a pioneer z-1 to his 2005 porsche boxster but i need to know if it is fiberoptic and if there is any special parts needed. he doesnt want to have to replace everything, just swap head units. i figured if its as easy as a harness job with maybe a line converter its not a prob. but like i said he doesnt want new speakers or amps. any knowledge would help.

thanks

Its fiber optic.  Impossible to swap just the head unit.  the amplifier, changer, instument cluster, (nav if have it) won't wake up with out the signal from the factory head.
