HI. I just purchased and plan to install an overhead Pioneer Monitor. The overhead monitor has built in dome lights, and I wish to wire them by tapping into the exisitng dome light. To help clarify, I am not replacing the exisitng dome lights, but adding a second set with the overhead monitor.

My question is the following, does any one have a breakdown (wire diagram) for the respective cables at the current dome light? I cannot locate it on the forums "wire diagram page" and would greatly appreciate it as it would make the install so much easier. The model I am installing is a Pioneer AVR-W6100, and according to the manual, it has 3 wires for the dome light:

Dome light Switch -  

Dome Light Switch +

Door Switch

Any help is truly appreciated.

get yourself a DMM (Digital Multi-Meter) or borrow a friends, lol....or him
