i have a flip down tv for a 05 gran prix but i am wondering
about the most attractive,durable way to mount it in the cealing.i also don't want to destroy the headliner in the process.any tips would be helpful.

first, you at least have to cut a hole in the headliner unless tou want to see wires, second if you have to ask how to mount an overhead it best to seek professional instalition every car and monitor can be diffrent. if you want to learn how to do it ask the installer if you can watch

if you still want to try your self. inbetween the b pillers there should be a roof brace i usually secure a piece of 1/4 wood or ABS plastic to the brace with short screws (very important not to go through the roof) and screw the monitor to the wood . thats that in a nut shell good luck

thanks alot, im not a professional but i do have some sort of idea what i am doing.no effense i just like trying to do stuff on my own,and also save money.i was thinking just as you told me about the wood,abs plastic,and not drilling through the roof.i just like to get opinions and options from others.

p.s. this is 4 a friend anyway that does'nt much and weve been debating.
