Hi everyone,

I've got a customer with a late-model 350Z, who wants navigation, and doesn't want to replace his original radio.

He wants navigation with a separate screen, but something that looks clean and neat.

I've found a couple of posts that say you can use the pocket above the radio, and it'll come out looking very nice. Here's one of those posts:

Does anyone here have any further description, or maybe pics or other details?

OK Shaughn, but where to mount it? Inside the pocket above the radio like the others say? How does it look?

This guy keeps his car very nice, and insists that the install look good. I don't think he's going to go for Panavise mounts, or suction cups on the windshield.

I think the pocket would be the best bet, time to do some custom work.
the TME-M770 is a 6.5" touch screen and the Nav mounts under the seat or in the rear somewhere.

Try looking over at mp3car.com. I have seen carputer installs in the 350z over there. Good for some ideas perhaps. Also try google image search for something like "+350z +nav" or something like that. You will probably find some good ones with build details.

maybe you can put in the audiovox mirror with 4 in screen in it with a nav box. the only other issue would be if he wanted audio to speakers or you could just add a single speaker. the mirror is a little large but if he doesn't want to change his deck that might be the only option
