hey, kind of new to this car electronics stuff but want to give it a go. i am wanting to be able to switch the inverter to my ps2 on and off via an alternative switch close to me as the inverter is mounted behind the centre console bit in the passenger footwell. is there a way to do this? maybe putting a switch inline with the power to the inverter? also i would like to know if i can switch the ps2 on with out leaning under the passenger seat?!

any help is greatly appreciated.

thanks!

You basically answered your own question.

Put a switch inline with the power going into the inverter. I'm not familiar with the PS2 but from the sounds of it, it doesn't stay on but rather requires that you press a momentary button?

yeah i thought so was just double checking thanks for the quick reply!

yes the ps2 is just a momentary button so its rather annoying. i think i would have to deface the ps2 to create an extensio momentary switch.

for the inverter, the RED / white wires, shall i just connect one of them to the switch? like just cut the red put it through a switch? thats right isnt it?! lol im rubbish at this i know.
