is a modified sine inverter safe enough to run a mini mac and monitor in a car?or should i get a true/pure sine?

True sine wave is what the device is DESIGNED to run on. It will almost always run more efficiently, with less chance of abnormal operation, IF run on true sine wave... I'd go true sine, if it were me...

True Sine is the better choice, but a mod sine from a good company will work. The mini mac's PS is strong enough to work with it well.

It's installed in one my team mate's cars for 2 years now and she hasn't had a problem with it.
