I have found several sites saying that the GTO's VSS wire is purple white in the driver kick, but that wire is not there. I even found a picture of the harness that it is supposed to be in. The harness is there, but the purple white wire is not in the harness. Is there another location for this wire? I tried testing several other PURPLE / white wires, and none seem to test properly. Thanks!

this should help ya

The ECM (Engine Control Module) is on the driver side fender, under the coolant reservoir.

The VSS wire is also in the driver kick, in a plug above the PIM (Powertrain Interface Module), in pin 3.

Speed Sense

PURPLE / white

ECM, blue plug, pin 21

what is this wire used for, can it elimitate the speed limiter?
