Have power, blue lights , LCD flips up, no sound and video. Tried hard reset, etc.? anyone have any ideas? Could it be the ribbon cable? Thanks ------------- XMEL

It might be the ribbon cable but if it were you should still be able to get audio unless of course you couldn't see what source you were on.  ------------- MECP Certified

Thanks for the reply. I had audio and video and button controlls. First the button controlss stopped, but i had audio and video, then the video went but had audio, then audio went. Still have power. Any thoughts? ------------- XMEL

That is definitely a ribbon cable problem I will be happy to get you the part number so you can order one but the last 2 guys here that tried to fix theirs broke a switch while taking it apart.

Great, I alrady took apart and found the ribbon cable to be easily removed, I did see a slight pinch in the cable. I definetely woud appreicate the part number. Thanks! ------------- XMEL
