I currently own an AVIC-N2, and when i got the thing, i had to the little solder trick (which worked perfect) to get me into the unlocked video and nav features when driving.

yes i know its dangerous, but its for the passengers, not me (ok ok, me when i need nav on the go) but the saftey isn't the issue...

does anyone know if the Z1 has a video lock out? Can you just ground the emergency sensor, or do you need to pull the ol solder trick again?

Before i get it, someone let me know!
