has anyone done this. Does anyone know what the 4 posts are in the plug? I searched and found info on the camera but not the plug in the back of the unit. 4 wires pos, neg, video, shield, But which one is which?

Don't know off hand, but it should be easy to figure out. The camera output will only show 12volts when the green reverse wire sees 12volts, so you could hook it up and use a meter to determine that one. As for signal, just test by touching the video wire off the camers until you get a picture. The only other thing it could touch would be ground and that won't hurt anything....

good points, i believe the output is 6 volts. goes any one have a close up picture of the camera plug?
