This is my first time installing a 12x10 overhead console with a 6.8 flip down tv  . Can anyone give me some tips on installing this . Here is what im installing it on ...97 Chevy Tahoe 4 door LS , there is no factory overhead console . the only thing on the headliner is the overhead small 2 button interior lights . Will I have to take down the entire headliner to make this install? Also will i need a housing kit for the console? PLEASE send any other information I will need to know.

Hi Escalade, what pieces are you installing? Make, model...? Is this a custom console designed to work with your vehicle? Is it a universal console designed to work in many vehicles? In most cases, no, you do not have to remove the headliner.

OK...here is what i have LSM68 KEC 6.8 LCD TELEVISION MONITOR/RECEIVER SYSTEM . This is a universal console. The TV and console are mounted together as one piece.
