i have a 04 chevey suburban z71 and added a clarion max675vd and nax970hd. i contacted clarion's tech support to try and locate the speed sensor for my truck but they will only give the iformation to dealers. does anyone know the color of the speed sensor wire?

i was informed to remove the instrument cluster and i should find it as a green / white wire. only problem is that there are 3 identical green / white wires. need a little help to determine the exact wire.

check at stereo harness if their is a green and white trace  that wire will work

Check the driver wheel. There is a 2 wire antiloc break harness that sends a speed pulse to the brake computer. I think it is a blue wire but u have a 50/50 chance on gettin' it on the first try. See ya'

The brake pulse won't work with some navs due to the high pulse count so it may be a crap shoot. The easiest place is the back of the cluster. Use a DVM and roll the car, when you get the right one it will pulse on the meter. UFM is correct in that if there is a GREEN / WHITE on the radio harness that is it, but most Suburbans don't...
