I have a gentex auto dimming mirror (156) that I pulled out of a 1997 Ford Explorer.  I am splicing it into my 1994 Dodge Dakota.  I will have no problem locating the necessary wires in the vehicle, however, I am having problem figuring out what wire is what on the mirror.  It does not have a compass or temp guage or lights, so it's not an expensive- like mirror.  The mirror has a 6 pin wire harness (only 1-5 are used, 6 is open).  The colors of the wires are as followed in order 1-5:

1- RED / Yellow stripe
2- GREEN/ YELLOW stripe
3- Black
4- BLACK/ Pink stripe
5- WHITE/ Violet stripe
6- OPEN NOT USED

On the tab for the harness it says      H JST   0

Any information you can give me would be REALLY appreciated.  If any, Please.

Thanks so much for your help.

Ok this is basically what I have found online.  First the two links are for the mirror but for different vehicles.  Use this one to identify what pins are what  https://www.p71interceptor.com/gentexmirror/.  Then use this as a diagram as what to look for https://www.mmsport.s5.com/Compassmirror.html.  Basically the pins "should" be the same but the wire colors may be different.  You will have to tear down the mirror to find the plug on the mirror and take the wiring harness that is going into the mirror and figure out what wires are what from what pin and the diagram from the first link should hopefully supply you with the wiring info you will need.  On the first power up use a really small fuse just in case.  You also might want to look at a chiltons and see if it has the wiring info for the mirror.  Also here are a couple of other links that I found: https://www.audiworld.com/tech/int33.shtml https://www.mitocorp.com/mirror_installation.htm  Hope this helps.
