i searched but couldnt find the answer so i figured i would ask but i am putting in a ps2 in the glove box and i was wondering if i need to buy one of those converters so i can plug the ps2 in like a normal outlet or is thier like an adapter or something that i can buy b/c i dont want the ps2 to stay on all the time when the car is off any help would be great.

you will need a power inverter.  using a relay you can wire up the inverter to a switched power feed so it will only have power when the key is turned on.
