My installer says if he installs the Pioneer AVIC D3 in place of the GPS system that came with my new 07 Chevrolet Silverado Crewcab, the rear DVD will not work.

Is there a kit or way to install the Pioneer AVIC D3 in my vehicle so the rear DVD will work?

gm does not use the RCA style connections, good luck on that one

It can work if you know how to do it. You need to run signal from the D3 up, then supply the factory DVD with power. It's a little complicated but we do it a lot as we are exbiditors. I don't care for using the D3 for this as you won't be able to use the nav unless you set a course first, and you won't be able to listen to a disc while the DVD is playing. A better choice is the Z1....
