I've had an AVIC-D1 installed for about 2 years with no problems.  Lately I've lost NavTraffic (logo missing also).  I called Pioneer and they told me to start by resetting the GEX-P10XMT receiver.  The problem is I mounted it under the dash cover (see photo) and I don't want to tear the dash apart if there is another way to reset the microprocessor to try this out. 

Has anyone experienced this problem?  Is it possible something is wrong with the AVIC-D1?  Could the GEX-P10XMT be bad?   XM radio is working fine and I've refreshed the signal several times without success.  XM  Technicians even deleted the account and reset it to see if that would work (it didn't).posted_image.

Problem Solved!

There is a reset button on the AVIC-D1 (below "SRC" button).  I reset the AVIC and the icon reappeared and NavTraffic is available again. 

P.S. - this has to be done with the ignition "OFF" to avoid losing custom settings.
