Just picked up my 2008 F350 that came with factory XM satellite and DVD nav. Im replacing with Poineer AVIC-Z2, I have most adapters from crutchfield to install radio.

Few quick Questions, couldnt find much on the 08' ford F350

can I use factory NAV antenna already installed?
can I use factory XM antenna already installed?
Since Factory NAV was installed, does anyone know color code or location of VSS wire for Nav?
any other things i should look out for?

Thanks in advance for all you help... found many many great things for my 03' Ford F250

i would say dont do the z2....do a z1 because you cant bypass the z2. youll regret it later when u have to pull over to do everything

good advice go with a d1 or d3 as they are easily bypassed the nav antenna should work ford nav systems are from pioneer

there is a swithch located on the avic-z2that will allow you to bypass. how ever it will also void its factory warrenty.

Actually there is a bypass for the Z2 now. You need to do your homework....
