I've got a Pioneer AVH-P7500DVD in-dash DVD player unit here, complete with 7" LCD, but with a small problem. When powered by the vehicle, the LCD backlight illuminates, but then the display goes to sleep mode, even when it should show content. I'm attempting to repair the unit for a friend (I've repaired PC desktop and laptop hardware as my day job for the last few years), but I'm stumped as to how to power the unit externally from the vehicle.
I'm sure it runs on 12V DC, as the specs state on the bottom, but there are several connectors on the back of the unit that I'm not sure of. The blue one, seen below, has two pins larger than the others, and are connected to some rather large traces on the underside of the PCB. I'm hoping they're the 12V power lines (the ground line would run to a number of components' cathodes), but I'd like to have more than just a slightly educated guess before I go hooking it up to my variable power supply.
Can anyone recognize the connectors below? I don't know if there are standard for car AV interfaces/steering wheel controls/etc...

One pin is constant 12 volts and the other is ground.

So, the pins I have in the white rectangle are the two proper power pins?

One of them is Ground and the other is 12 volts constant you will still need to locate the 12 volt switched wire, it is the red wire on that same plug you may need to get the vehicle back over there so you can see where the red wire is located.

large pin nearest the board is ground the other large pin is constant and 2 pins over from ground is switched power Constant skip a pin and the next one is switched.
