I tried to bypass my AVIC-N2 last night by creating a jumper for the R197 pins. Unit will no longer power on, the buttons light up for approx. 4 seconds and the screen will come out but by the time it will fully elevate it will turn back off.

I know I've made an ass of myself by doing this so please keep the comments to yourself. I just wanted to see if there was anything i could do or if anyone has run into the same problem??

All I can say is remove the wires and reset the unit by pressing the small litte dot button on the right side of the detachable face.
