Hi. I have a 2001 Kia Sportage 2 door, and my latest addition is a rearview LCD (7") with camera input.

I am in the process of making the connections, but need to locate the reverse light trigger so that the LCD turns on automatically and shows the camera image whenever I put the car in reverse.

I appreciate your help.

I have no idea where you can find the wire in the front of the vehicle, but since you are mounting the camera and already have to run wires to the back of the vehicle, why not find the wire at the reverse light bulb itself.
