video screens not bright when both on

hello all. i just finished installing 2 headrest monitors running off of a jvc kw-avx800. i didnt have the both of them hooked up at first cause the kids just wanted to see it up and running. well, i connected the power wire on the second monitor and now both monitors go dim so much that you cant see them. is the video output signal not strong enough to power both screens? i have the remote turn on wire going to 2 relays. one for each monitor as the load on each monitor is 1 amp rated and the remote turn on in the dvd player is only .25 amp. here i was all excited to see them and here they dont work. am i needing a video booster of some kind?

If your radio remote wire has only .25 amp output capacity, you really need ot run only 1 relay off of it. One relay can handle both of your tv's.

ah, shortly after i posted this i did a search for video amplifier and found what i think i was looking for. you are right about the tv's on one relay but i neglected to mention i also run 2 amps off that also and my sat radio antenna. just thought it was irrelevent. thanks though for the input.

as for the amplifier, i chose a power acoustik vb-1; one in and four out in case i ever expand beyond 2 screens. which i highly doubt as that would mean another kid!!
