I just bought a 2005 gmc yukon denali, it has factory nav with bose sound and the rear seat dvd.   i want to install my pioneer avic z1 in it, the gm navi kinda sucks.   im planning to use the metra GMOS04, and the PAC SWI-PS.   i know i will lose the rear audio controls, but that is pretty much it correct?   is there any way to get the factory dvd sound to come thru the pioneer headunit, or will it only be able to be heard thru the wireless headphones?   this is not a big deal.  im hoping i will not lose anything else.   is the metra adapter ok?   i have heard mixed things about it.   are there any other options?  will the factory XM antenna work with the sirius tuner for the avic?  if i run this setup this way, will everything work well, or should i just add a sirius tuner to the factory head unit?   thanks for the help!

What I've done in the past is find the OEM DVD player's output and wire it into a set of RCA's and run it into a audio/video switching unit.

Sorry, I didn't write any of this information down. You will need to test the wires with a DMM to figure out which is which.
