Please draw for me a Latched On/Off Output Using a Single Momentary Positive Pulse - Negative Output

This but in reverse: https://www.the12volt.com/relays/relaydiagram23.html

Explain what you're asking when you say "in reverse".

Sorry, I thought I did. The example in the link posted on this site is a Latched On/Off Output Using a Single Momentary ((Negative Pulse - Positive Output)).

I asked please for a Latched On/Off Output Using a Single Momentary ((Positive Pulse - Negative Output)).

The Pulses, and outputs are what I would call reversed.

Yep, you're sure did.

I'll test the configuration on the bench tomorrow if I have time, then draw it and post it if it works. In theory you would flip the diodes and reverse the polarity of the inputs to the switch and relays to achieve what you want (positive input, negative output).

Thank you. It could also be a negative pulse - negative output. The single momentary on/off, and negative output is the important part.

You're welcome. You could use that diagram and simply add a relay to the 12V+ output to also get a negative output.

Additional relay connected as follows:
12V+ output from that diagram to 85
ground to 30 and 86
87 will be a negative output

Yes, that is what I did using the available diagrams here on the site, but it adds another relay.

Here is a drawing of the complete system. It ends up with 11 relays. I had hopes that someone could get it down to 8 maybe.

Much praise, and thank you to "the12volt".

I will get this soldered up, and tested this weekend. It should fit my needs perfect.

My first attempt using 5 pin PCB relays went thermal and let the smoke out. Turns out the small PCB relays are beyond my soldering skills at the moment. I ordered larger 5 wire relays and will re-attempt when USPS drops them in the box.

Sorry. I can not get this to work. My first attempt went up in smoke and my second does nothing at all. I have double checked everything and can't get it to work.

Void the above post. It works perfectly. Thank you for helping with this project.

You're welcome. Sometimes triple checking does the trick ;)

Would it possible to write a step-by-step description of what is happening at each relay while this setup is in operation?
