Hey guys, so I just purchased a set of 12 Volt LED turn signal bulbs.. There 3 wire, obviously 1 ground and 1 positive lead is like a running light and dim, and the 2nd positive lead is the signal and twice as bright.. What I want to try and do, is basically have the light in bright mode when my parking lamps are on, and then when i put my turn signal on, it goes back and forth to dim.. If anyone knows what I mean or can help me out that be great, thanks...

Maybe the turn signals to actuate an SPDT relay that disconnects the bright (87a) and connects the dim (87), though it'd be better if it works having BOTH bright & dim at +12V with bright connected connected through 87a of an SPDT relay which opens with the indicators.

Whether your suggestion is legal is another thing.

And whether your flasher can etc will work without "normal" incandescent lamps is another (but they can be hidden).

so these wont be brake lights too? if they are on the rear next to brake lights, they will look like you are riding the brake all the time.

in the states, the set up would be considered unlawful.

what is the vehicle?

on most cars ...

i would think swapping the hots would be a good start. then some sort of transistor in series with the bright wire that would lose its ground through the middle leg every time the signal blinked casing the brght to go off each time the dim came on.
