I have a 2003 hyundai Tiburon gt with the premium infinity sound system. I currently installed a JL Audio 500/1 powering a JL Audio 10W7. I replaced the stock sub with a JL Audio 8W3-V2. I have an MTX TNA 251 amplifier to power it but when i hook everything up and play music. the 8w3 doesn't play. the amp is hooked up correctly becuase the lights are on. I have the 500/1's rca's connected to the dedicated subwoofer output on the headunit. i tried connecting the rca to the front, rear, and subwoofer output and still nothing. i hope someone could help me.

thanks in advance,

t.s.

Try connecting the 10 to the MTX amp so you can see if the problem is with the speaker or the amp.

Are you getting 12v on the remote wire?
What does your meter read on the positive and remote terminals of your amps?

Chances are you may have to wire a current amplification relay to your remote wire in order to turn on your amps.
Most decks in my experience can not turn on more than one amp.
