Hey guys,

Just installed a new boss audio systems elite model BE9ACP floating touch screen radio, install overall seems to work but one issue, the radio is not raising my car's power antenna, reading through the manual it says the output is max 500mA @ 12v but when measured the output is .1xx volts, is there a hidden setting or perhaps something I did wrong, worked just fine with the Delco radio before replacement.

1995 Cadillac DeVille 4.9L Base

Thanks!

Disconnect the wire from the car and check voltage on the wire coming from the radio. If there is 12 volts on it now, the cars circuit may draw more than the radio can handle. If you do have 12 volts on that wire with no load, you can simply add the following relay setup to make it work.
