I'm trying to install a remote start on this thing, does anybody have diferent wiring info then I have....

When I look on ingnition harness there is 2 pink wires 1- white, 1brown, 1- RED / white, and when I test them pink and white show 4volts, the rest of them show 12 when ign .is in on position...

Maybe the wires are at BCM.  Have anybody done the 2008 model before...?

These vans are like the new designed full size trucks. You need a module to integrate the starter circuit and the transponder circuit. I use the XK06-PKG9 from Trilogix. It will take care of most of the wiring you need.

There is only one ignition wire but there are 2 pink wires. Only one is the ignition and the other is for the Passlock system. Get your hands on a module that will interface with GM's hybrid Passlock II/transponder system. Without a module, the truck won't start.

just like all new gms, starter wire is not needed, just ign, accessory, power, ground, brakepedal shutdown, park lites, and a coded key in a universal bypass(dei 556u, or audoivox astcbm) truck will start when ign and accessory come on, accessory drops (while ignition stays)bcm then tells vehicle to crank
have not done a new van but have done a ton of new trucks and cobalts and this way worls great(rumor is that this will store hidden codes but it will throw no lights and i scanned one a week after i installeditthis way and no codesfound so maybe it will store hidden codes after a while but i work at a gm store and have had no issues)

well i did the whole now start wire thing on a 2007 trail blazer on accident. the vin said that it was an 06, but the wiring was 07 so i didnt have the starter wire hooked up. remote start worked perfect, but it threw two transmission codes.
